Dr. Do Thi Thanh Thuy obtained a medical doctor and took up a lectureship at University of Medicine and Pharmacy Ho Chi Minh city in 1983.
She was appointed senior lecture in 2008, deputy head of Biochemistry department in 2009.
She became vice director of Center for Molecular Biomedicine in 2011 and A. Professor of Biochemistry in 2015

After finishing BS and MS in Biology in Ukraine, Dr. Duong Thi Hong Diep headed back to Vietnam and became a lecturer at Biochemistry Department - Faculty of Medicine - University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City.
She got her doctorate in Biochemistry in early 2016 at Mahidol University - Bangkok - Thailand. Her thesis focuses on Burkholderia pseudomallei and its antibiotic resistance.
